Project Helena
Project Helena: Hopes & Hard Work
Project Helena (Named after Helena of Troy) is an innovative video podcast initiative designed to promote women’s rights and contribute to global betterment through fact-based dialogue and inspiration.
The project aims to empower and enlighten by sharing the experiences of female decisionmakers to a younger audience.
Fact-based narratives are sorely missing from much of today’s public dialogue. In a world often plagued by misinformation, it emphasises fact-based narratives to inspire and encourage teenagers aged 13-19 to participate in creating a more equitable and progressive society while steering clear of the extreme left and right.
The core mission is to engage with female decisionmakers and champions, exploring their journeys and perspectives to inspire the younger generation.
Through a series of video interviews, complemented by concise written summaries, the initiative highlights the path female leaders took and will foster appreciation for female leadership whilst inspire teenagers, particularly girls, to embrace their potential and contribute to societal improvements.
