Everything accomplished, and every honour received, is the result of a concerted team effort by very large teams of people, working tirelessly with Bogi Eliasen to affect change globally. All important mileposts reached are always a result of team-effort led by a strong vision.

Bogi Eliasen’s initiated and led the world’s first whole population genome project and is renowned for his exploration of future-centric topics such as genomics, data, new technology, AI and Ethics and their integration into healthcare.

Bogi’s work is grounded in a holistic vision, aiming to shape a more equitable future of personalised sustainable digital healthcare worthy of the 5th Industrial Revolution.

Bogi Eliasen is a Richard von Weizsäcker Fellow (2023) and a SCIANA Honorary Fellow.

In 2019, he was honoured with the prestigious HIMSS Future 50 global award in recognition of his contributions to the field.

Additionally, Eliasen holds the position of International Chair of the UNESCO World Bioethics Committee. He is an advisor to The World Bank and the WHO and is part of the steering committees for a number of important global projects.

As a keynote speaker, Bogi Eliasen works tirelessly to show audiences what incredible change is possible.
